Description Khmelnytskyi National University is the largest higher education institution in Podillia, preparing specialists in various fields of knowledge and conducting educational, methodological, scientific, and educational work. The university was founded in 1962. Over the course of its existence, it has evolved from a general technical faculty of the Ukrainian Printing Institute into Khmelnytskyi National University, which is now a classical higher education institution. The university's mission is to develop the intellectual potential of students, academic staff, and employees through their joint innovative educational, scientific, and entrepreneurial activities, enabling successful professional self-realization, technology and knowledge transfer, and adaptation to the needs of the modern world and life's challenges. The university prepares future specialists through 8 faculties, comprising 42 departments, across 126 educational programs at all levels of higher education: bachelor's, master's, and PhD; doctoral training is also provided. Today, more than 7,000 students are enrolled at the university. The educational process is supported by 89 doctors of science and 340 candidates of science. Khmelnytskyi National University is recognized as a scientific center in Ukraine and beyond, with more than 15 scientific schools, doctoral and postgraduate programs, and specialized academic councils for the defense of doctoral and candidate dissertations. The university pursues a policy of internationalization, implementing international projects, involving foreign lecturers and experts, and encouraging the development of foreign language competencies among its academic staff to expand the range of English-language programs, which has a positive impact on attracting international students. The university is a member of the Businet network of international higher education institutions and the Baltic University Program, sharing a common vision for the internationalization of higher education, actively exchanging knowledge, and finding innovative ways to promote and implement sustainable development goals. The university is also implementing the USAID Cybersecurity Activity project, aimed at strengthening Ukraine's critical infrastructure resilience to cyberattacks through collaboration between the government, private sector, academic community, and civil society. The university’s scientific library has joined the international RapidILL system for library resource sharing. Through the Ukraine Global Faculty (UGF) project, university students and teachers can listen to lectures from professors of leading foreign universities, renowned experts, and business practitioners. Following the full-scale invasion, the university organized a center uniting staff, students, and concerned citizens to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and internally displaced persons. The university has established systematic work on weaving camouflage nets, offers courses in first aid and basic military training for staff and students. To ensure safety during emergencies and air raid warnings, the university has equipped 8 shelters capable of accommodating more than 4,000 people simultaneously. Despite the challenges of today, Khmelnytskyi National University continues to work hard to maintain high-quality education, creating comfortable conditions for all participants in the educational process. Together towards victory and a successful future for Ukraine!
