Apparently, there’s a general obsession with “artificial” intelligence and I'm starting to get fed up with the Quick Poll questions on the subject. Has AI made all imagination and creativity disappear and aren't there other, perhaps more interesting, questions to ask?
Anyway, to answer the question, throughout my professional life as a translator I've been much more interested in quality than in the time it takes to achieve the desired quality, with or without AI...

I do. I reject AI projects, then use that time for something else - my other projects/jobs, a spa day or socializing. That’s time saving!

I see that many questions that come to my mind in my daily routine related to my job and interests are quicker and better responded to with Gemini. I do not use AI a lot, but it is fascinating to read their great results in a short time.

In my case, most of my AI interactions are with support chatbots or AI assistants, so it's the opposite way.
Not only do I waste more time with the useless AI, but if there isn't any human to take charge, I also get frustrated because the problem isn't solved or the AI chatbot creates a second/new problem.
So, the only way to save time with AI is not using any of those shi*ty chatbots.

I have the same feeling about this obsession. Actually, I suggested a couple of recent polls. One of them was about climate change affecting work routines last month, though I preferred not to be credited for it.
