Not really, although I probably tend to be less productive at weekends, for one reason or another.

My productivity depends on what the job is (translation, transcreation, edition, proofreading) and how interesting I find the project. In general, I’m not easily distracted and I remain focused on my work, but my productivity is influenced by the number of interruptions (telephone, doorbell, outside noise, etc.) and a bunch of other factors: quality of my sleep the night before (I don’t recover as easily as I did in my younger days), job deadline, complexity of the document, familiarity with... However, at my age productivity is related to my general wellbeing that particular day.

Mondays are good, Tuesdays are the best for me. Also Fridays, because I'm wrapping up the week.

Mondays are generally pretty slow. I rarely have much to do in the first place, and unless its urgent I don't get much done. Tuesday is the day that defines the week: it's the day that most work comes in. Wednesday and Thursday I'm cracking on with the work that came in, and Friday I'm mostly wrapping stuff up. If I still have work that's not due until the next week, I'll slope off early to the pool or take the dog for a longer walk and then catch up at some point in the weekend. I rarely do mor... Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays are best. On Mondays I'm getting to speed if I haven't worked over the weekend, and on Fridays I am tired and want to rest.

On Saturdays and Sundays when it's more quiet outside (less traffic) and inside (less phone calls and e-mails from clients).

Me too! On Mondays i like to plan the week and organize my house. And On Fridays I like to rest or engage in a volunteer work that i enjoy so much, it doesn’t matter if i feel tired or not. So Tue, Wed and Thu I feel more productive.
