I've seen a lot of people come and go, but I've been pretty regular about following KudoZ. It's very comforting to be able to consult colleagues when I'm stumped, and I like to give back in return.

I participate more. At first, I was a very passive member. My useless Browniz points (126,318) say it all!

I used to participate in the Poll Discussion on a regular basis, but over time I lost interest.

A lot more since 2013 Jul 23, 2021

I joined ProZ in 2007, but I had an in-house job and freelance translation was a secondary source of income to me. Since 2013, I started freelancing full time, and I started participating a lot more, to the point that I'm among the top 10 "all times" since 2018.

I have about the same amount, and I keep wondering if ProZ is ever going to find a use for these. I already suggested them we changed them for T-shirts, mugs, etc., but they didn't even reply. Spreading their logo around would be a good thing, wouldn't it?

Technical forums are still very useful, and big thanks to all who take time to help fellow translators with all sorts of problems.
Also, description of various scams is great and I often refer people to that section.
Otherwise, it's been the same for years and years ... lamentations about low rates, overall doom, dark future, evil technology, bad clients etc., which no doubt has some psychological value in our lonely profession but is not particularly uplifting.
