Language Auditors – Global Multilingual Speech Project

We’re building a team of experienced language professionals to support a large-scale global speech project spanning 40 languages and thousands of participants worldwide.
This is a remote, flexible independent contractor opportunity expected to run for approximately two months, with expected availability of around 20 hours per week on average.
As a Language Auditor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring linguistic quality across the project. You’ll review audio segmentation and transcriptions of general, conversational speech, identify and correct errors, ensure the work follows the project’s linguistic guidelines and quality standards, and help ensure that the final data accurately reflects how people really speak. You’ll also help identify recurring issues and maintain consistency across the project.
Your expertise will directly contribute to the quality of a multilingual dataset used to improve speech recognition technology.
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
• A background in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Experience with transcription or linguistic quality review.
• Excellent command of the required language, with strong grammar, spelling, and comprehension skills.
• A sharp eye for detail and the ability to apply linguistic guidelines consistently.
• Experience with speech, annotation, data, or AI-related projects is a plus.
