"doing something to your brain" is a very nice way to put how they are demonstrably making people dumber.
More silliness. Every single stimulus we experience "does something" to our brain, because that's what "experiencing a stimulus" means.
So "Disagree" cannot be a valid answer to this poll, because by answering, somebody shows that their brain has been affected by it.
Either that, or it's been affected to such a degree that they're no longer capable of understanding the question or answering it intelligently.

Which is OK, because the question isn't intelligent in the first place. And so we complete the circle.
Note: this is my second attempt at posting a comment. The first time, when I tried to preview my answer I found myself having to prove I was human on the Cloudflare bouncer page. After I did that I was flipped back to the poll page, my original post lost.

It conditions you into expecting a continuous feed of things to direct your thoughts. That is very harmful. It isn't how a healthy brain works.

IMHO, the constant advertising, marketing speech, and public narrative related to AI everywhere is doing bad things not only to people's brains but also to human relations, working conditions, and financial systems.
For me, the current problem with AI isn't AI itself, but the mogul tech companies hyping AI all the time and forcing people to use it by adding it to phone apps or browsers without asking and without the option to delete it. | | | | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Poll: ChatGPT, Gemini & others are doing something to your brain. | Wordfast Pro | Translation Memory Software for Any Platform
